THE PHILADELPHIA ANTIQUES & ART SHOW

The Philadelphia Antiques and Art Show presents its 57th year of showcasing the country’s preeminent dealers of antiques and fine art.  The 62 exhibitors offer a vast selections of decorative and fine art spanning the 17th century to the present.

Founded in 1962 as the University Hospital Antiques Show, benefiting Penn Medicine, the show is now directed by the Philadelphia Museum of Art, in partnership with the Women’s Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.  Proceeds will benefit the Museum’s Division of Education and Public Programs.

PREVIEW PARTY

The Show’s PREVIEW PARTY on THURSDAY, APRIL 25   is a sneak peek at the fine works of art and antiques that will  be on view at the show.  Preview PartyJoin museum staff, patrons and the volunteers that make the show happen for a memorable evening of arts, music and delicious food.  The Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus will sing a medley of songs in honor of the show.   We invite you to dazzle in Silver from head to toe to celebrate our loan exhibit The Art of Silver.  Price includes a ticket to the preview party, entry for the run of the show and a show catalogue. The Preview Party is sponsored by The Haverford Trust Company.

TOURS AND LECTURES 

The Show presents a series of outstanding events, including lectures by recognized experts.

THE CAFÉ AND BAR

The Café, located on the Show floor, serves a wide variety of hearty soups, salads, sandwiches, gourmet desserts, and beverages for an affordable price. The Café is open daily during Show hours. The Bar has several service areas on the Show floor, offering cocktails and beverages during Show hours. The Cafe is sponsored by Pook & Pook.
